10 Things you can do now to prepare for your first cleaning

Welcome! We are excited to make your home sparkle. To ensure we can dedicate our full attention to cleaning and to maximize the time you’ve paid for, please complete the following 10 steps before our team arrives for your first service:

• Clear All Clutter: This is the most important step! Please clear all personal items, papers, toys, remotes, and general clutter from all surfaces (countertops, tables, nightstands) and floors. Our team is trained to clean, not to organize.
• Handle the Dishes: Ensure all dirty dishes are either put away or loaded into the dishwasher. We need the sink and surrounding counter space clear to sanitize your kitchen effectively.
• Secure Valuables & Breakables: For your peace of mind and the safety of your belongings, please put away all cash, jewelry, heirlooms, small electronics, and fragile sentimental items before we arrive.
  Identify Top Priorities: If you have specific areas that need extra attention (e.g., tough grout, sticky cabinets, or a dusty mantle), please let us know when you book or leave a simple note. This helps us focus our time where you need it most.
• Secure Your Pets: Please ensure all pets are secured in a crate, a designated room, or outside for the duration of the cleaning service. This prevents them from becoming stressed or getting in the way of our equipment.
• Confirm Easy Access: Please ensure we have clear instructions for entering your home (key, code, or lockbox information) and that the path to your door is clear.
• Prepare Linens (Optional Service): If your service includes changing bedding, please leave the fresh set of linens folded neatly on top of the bed, and place the dirty linens in a hamper.
• Empty Bathroom/Office Bins: To ensure we can thoroughly clean and sanitize the inside and outside of your small trash cans, please empty the contents into your main kitchen bin or an outside receptacle.
• Tidy Up the Bathroom: Clear excess shampoo bottles, soaps, and all toiletries from the shower ledges and vanity countertops. This allows us to scrub the tub, tiles, and sinks completely.
• Be Available for the Start (Recommended): If possible, be available for a quick 5-minute walk-through at the beginning of the service. This allows you to point out any unique surfaces or sensitive areas that require special care.We look forward to giving you a wonderful first clean!
